At this event, we will launching a major initiative to connect our students to the broader Austin-area Better-for-You Food and Beverage CPG industry through new courses and experiential learning opportunities developed by the UT Nutrition Institute, a novel partnership across McCombs, the Nutrition Department, and the College of Natural Sciences.
We expect several hundred students to attend the Taste of Texas Showcase, where we hope to feature exciting brands like yours to campus. Other organizations joining us include Whole Foods Market, CAVU Ventures, Waterloo, SNAP Kitchen, SKU, Naturally Austin, and more.
We’d love for you to consider joining us and tabling at the event to showcase your company and connect with students. Items that do not require heating or electricity and are not served hot are allowed. This is a great opportunity to sample product and promote your brand, so we encourage you to “come early, stay late, and wear orange” (or your logo!) to celebrate with us.
Plan for participation as follows:
- 10am Tabling Setup. Arrive at load-in through the elevator in Rowling Garage. We will provide a 4-foot table and signage for your company on site in the Atrium of Rowling Hall, our beautiful new business school venue (*Rowling Hall parking voucher provided)
- 12-2pm Trade Show begins. Prepare to sample product or other collateral to 300+ students and guests
- 2:15pm Tabling Takedown. The speaking portion of the event will begin at 2:00pm. Please plan to take down your trade show product at this time.
- 2:00pm-5:30pm Speaker Programming. Please join the festivities in the Auditorium after takedown.
