In partnership with CarbonBetter, Naturally Austin celebrated Earth Week at Central Machine Works on April 22. It was an exciting evening of meeting and greeting, where members interested in sustainability got to network and learn from one another. Thank you to CarbonBetter for hosting this incredible night!
CarbonBetter helps companies align what’s good for their businesses with what’s good for our planet. In addition to hosting this event, they celebrated Earth Day by helping select Austin businesses take a step toward a net-zero future. The culmination of this work can be found in their 2022 Impacts Report, which they shared with all who attended.

Leading up to Earth Day, CarbonBetter measured and offset the carbon footprint of 29 local businesses – all of whom are listed in the report. As a participant, Naturally Austin was lucky enough to learn from CarbonBetter about our carbon footprint and have help offsetting it. Here is a brief snippet of the data found in the report:
